The Early Development Research Group is composed of five research centres led by:
Dr. Janet Werker (Infant Studies Centre)
Dr. Susan Birch (K.I.D. Studies Centre)
Dr. D. Geoffrey Hall (Language Development Centre)
Dr. Andrew Baron (Social Cognitive Development Lab)
Dr. J. Kiley Hamlin (Centre for Infant Cognition)
All five of these centres are located at the UBC Department of Psychology, and are interested in the development of language, learning, and social understanding in infants and children (newborn to 7 years-old).
