Why Volunteer with Us? Gain hands-on experience in child development research, work alongside experts at UBC, and contribute to groundbreaking studies that shape our understanding of early development.
We look for motivated undergraduate students who:
- Are interested in developmental research
- Have great communication skills and attention to detail
- Can commit to 8 hours per week for at least 2 terms
Volunteer Roles:
- Assist in data collection and analysis
- Interact with families and children during studies
- Support research projects and lab activities
Volunteers will be trained to assist with research coordination tasks such as contacting families to participate in our many developmental studies across seven research centers. They will also assist with database maintenance and recruitment initiatives. This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience and training in scheduling and booking participants for research. This is a great opportunity for students to start getting involved in research.
